I just found http://www.onlineathens.com/stories/111310/new_735457211.shtml in our local newspaper and thought I would share it with you guys. While I don't fly at this field, I would like to see some info about the places you fly. I will be posting more info about the field and the buds I fly with soon. Our field is not a club, and we do not have members, but like any field, we demand common sense about such a potentially dangerous sport. The owner of the property has given us permission to fly, and is one of the people that hang out an shoot the sh.. breeze.
Thanks for sharing,
Bryan

I fly at the Tokoroa Airfield.

It's got 850m of sealed runway and 1,100m of grass at an altitude of 1221 feet ASL.

Generally speaking, there are only one or two full-sized aircraft movements a day -- so it's pretty much all mine (and the other model-fliers when they turn up on weekends).

I fly at our local field!
We are not a club, and don't have any members or anything.
Our runway is about 80x4 meters grass(cirka).

It is just basically placed on a farmers field. The owner gets a bottle of a little something for christmas and stays happy ;)

You can see some pictures from the field here:

But in the winter, we fly at a frozen lake, as long as the ice is safe!
