Variable Pitch Prop

Postby tommy » Thu Aug 12, 2010 6:55 pm

Hi, I got into heli's because I like all the different 3D manoeuvres. I always found planes to be not as impressive.
Not anymore. I just found out about "Variable Pitch Props" on planes.
Has anyone had any experience with these. They look awesome. Just check this out

I may need to buy some planes.

Yes, 4D is very cool. Unfortunately I'm having enough trouble with the first three D's :-)

What is the setup of throttle? Ok there is one more servo for the pitch, but how do you program your Tx? Mid throttle= pitch neutral and esc off?
I might be interest to try 4D, I have a Futaba T6exap will it do the job?
Thanks for the info!
