Turnigy 9x and spektrum

Postby RicoGr » Tue Nov 29, 2011 8:12 am

Hi everyone,

I own a lot of horizonhobby models which are controled by spektrum compatible radiosystems.

Now I would like to get the new version of the Turnigy 9x as a second TX and operate my horizon models with it.
My question is: Which module do I need to get the 9x working with Spektrum?

I've already read a lot of forums but could find a definit answer to that question.

See your answers soon (hopefully) ;-)

you would need to get the Specktrum TX module (not sure if you can actually buy one on its own) ... .that is of course if you want it to talk to the Spektrum Receivers, I also understand that the JR receivers work with the Spektrum TX units? basically because JR and Spektrum are one and the same company.

JR launched the Spektrum branding when they got into the 2.4Ghz range of product .... so that if it all turned to custard.. they could just shut it down and carry on with the high quality JR brandname.
