I doubt it. There are too many people like me who flew an AR500 for over a year with no problems whatever. I only quit flying it because I caught rapture of the sky and lost my Radian to a flyaway. One second I was marveling how high I was in the thermal, and the next I was panicked that I had no orientation at all. I just couldn't perceive what the plane was doing at all. Wonder to blunder in half a second.

Although I had a fatal brain brownout the AR500 never gave me a speck of trouble.
