Hello again guys,
I have just got a hobbyking 2.4ghz v2 system and I just noticed a charging port on the side of the transmitter. This is another good addition to v2 of this radio along with frequency hopping. I have a JR and Futaba charging lead ( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... ing%20lead ) and I was wondering whether I could use either one to plug into the side of this transmitter. Is it safe to do so? I would be using Sanyo eneloops and a turnigy accucell 6 charger. If not should I just use a aa battery holder and connect the wires to my accucel?
By the way does anyone know what settings I need to put in for Sanyo 2000mah eneloops for the accucel 6?

You should charge at around 10% of C with 2000mah cells that will be 200mah or 0.2 on your charger, set your Aucell6 on delta peak charge. As to charging inside the transmitter, it depends on how much you trust Eneloop cells, in the the old days of Nicad cells the cells vented while charging giving off an acidic gas that caused corrosion on the ends of the cells, this meant that cells put into the standard battery holder could intermittently disconnect while in use whether this is the case with Eneloop I don't know. loose cell should be charged outside the transmitter so they can vent outside an enclosed space, and, if you want to charge inside the TX the cells will need to be welded together just like the JR and Futaba own packs. If you can't find ready made packs I can advise you of a company that can weld a pack up for you here in Sydney Australia, if you are not in OZ you will have to find a manufacturer your self.

Thanks for the advice! I think I will just use a Futaba battery case that I have lying around, put in the batteries and then charge them from there.
