Bruce, how about posting a "review" of common household items that transmit on 2.4 and how they can affect radio reception.
The reason I ask is that my mother bought a remote meat thermometer that appears to transmit on 2.4 and I was thinking it probably doesnt have frequency scanning.

Most 2.4GHz devices (such as a remote meat thermometer) are relatively low-powered and won't pose any threat to RC model control. The same goes for most Bluetooth devices.

The only ones we really have to worry about (and even then, if you're using an FHSS RC system there's not much risk) are things like powerful wireless routers, video senders etc. Generally speaking, if something's only designed to deliver a few yards or tens of yards range then it's not going to be an issue.
