Aurora 9 stick deadband issues

Postby PLaurence » Mon Nov 22, 2010 9:13 pm

I need a new radio. The 9 seems to fit the bill. However, I've viewed two videos on the net that showed a dead band problem. One with the aileron and the other the elevator.
Any info on this would be appreciated. I called Hitec and they are not aware of the problem! Anyone on this forum own a 9?

I've ordered myself one and expect it in a few days.
I do not think this has happened to many radios, and if so, I dont think Hitec will hesitate with replacing it. After what I've heard, they got great customer service.
I know many people that a very much happy with their Aurora 9, only see a very few with problems(on forums etc).

The dead-zone issue affected a small number of the original A9 radios but I believe they're now slightly modified to avoid that problem so if you're buying brand-new you shouldn't have any issues.

I have an A9 and I haven't observed any such issues.

As Bruce stated, initial batches had the issue but it was resolved in newer batches. That was a couple months back.
