RX failure rate

Seeing that it is a holiday tomorow, might transfer one of the Receivers to one of my flying wings ( don't break very easliy ) and test it on one these.

Ok Zagi suffered the same range problem, no batterys causing any problem.
150 meter and they loose range, well will be fine in the indoor planes, 8 channel working great, had them so high that
it was nearly out of site ( on a differnt note i saw a 6 FrSky 2.4G 7-channel Receivers V8R7 X 1 ) wonder if this has better range.

I have been flying a FrSky 4-channel receiver to the limit of visibility and low to the ground in my fast 1/2A Sharface this week-end with not a single glitch. This model is pretty agile and sensitive, so any glitch would show up immediately. I did take care to have the antenna away from the battery (> 2.5 inches away) and tucked the servo and battery wires away from it. The receiver had previously been tested ok at 1/2 mile in direct view.

Might just be unlucky to have 2 that are short range, will continue to get the 8 channel ones, but will steer clear of the 4 channel ones
for the time being.
