FrSky V8R4 receiver range?

Nicad, NiMH, Lithium, A123? If it's transmitter or receiver batteries you want to talk about, do it in this forum.

Are the antennaes removable on the V8R4? Just thinking of times where I may want to route it to behind where all the wires and servos are, by adding one of the longer antennaes

No the V8R4 antenna is soldered in but the new one, the D4FR has a removable pigtail antenna and a short wire one but it only works with the 2-way systems. It is full-range., just the facts.
