Hi there. Whats the max safe voltage that a charger should auto cutoff when charging AA 1.2v Nimh ??

for when the dv/dt cuttoff isnt detected for some reason (or batt allready had a full charge)
Is 1.5v too high max volt ??
as with my new charger, this one

You need to be more concerned with the temperature of a NiMH cell when fast charging, and yes Delta-V is the best way to cutout a fast charge with NiCd and NiMH.

Overvoltage cutoff depends on the charge current the internal resistance of the battery. I squared R

small (AA) cells are best charged C/10, if you have the time

nice charger though
