$8 battery pack ?

Nicad, NiMH, Lithium, A123? If it's transmitter or receiver batteries you want to talk about, do it in this forum.

Hey Guys,

Just letting you know i bought 2 x 3.7V Lithium Ion Batteries for only 2 bucks each.... and they are 3000MAH

Here is the link if you are interested :D http://www.ebay.com/itm/150704823415?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_2231wt_1139

I will use my Deans T connector to charge in my balance charger... may even remove the protection diode and use the normal charging port.

Will keep you posted.

Hi guys,
One additional question regarding “DIY $8 Lithium Transmitter Battery” tweak.

So after Turnigy 9x battery conversion, it is able to work with this new 7,4V battery pack.
That’s fine, BUT is it now possible to install HobbyKing “Turnigy DIY backlight kit” http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... IY%5F.html ?

This Backlight as I can see from HK specifications operates on 8-13V!?

Kind regards, Andrew

They are the same brand I bought from China, but yours don't appear to have the protection circuit on the bottom. So make sure you don't overcharge or run down too far, they'll be toast.
