any 1 checked out latest offering from HK regarding dsm2 rx, well dont bother! this rx showed up around xmas for $7 or $8. as im never lucky enough to logon to HK to find OJ rxs in stock, i promptly ordered 1. too hasty i was, should have studied product pic better. well received it 1 week later. opened it and got it bound, but no servo movement. after 5 mins repeated testing i spotted the problem. LO frigin L, no signal! how a company, even from china, can forget signal from a rx is beyond me! dont believe me, check their product photo, should be top item under spektrum in tx and rxs at hobbyking.com. looks exactly the same as what i received. notice bottom 2 pins of plug, at the back(BOARD SIDE) are soldered either side of the board, they are - and +. the top pin is signal, how will my servos move HobbyKing?

I've bought numerous OrangeRx DSM2 receivers from Hobbyking and had no problems with mine. I've had the orange case 6 ch ones, the naked 6 channel ones and even the 4 channel ones.

yes crampy, ive heard and read orange rxs do the job, but i never see them in stock. when this came in to stock i jumped but they are not orange. at least not advertised as one or any brand. they are just labelled 6ch dsm2 compatible rx 6110e style. regardless, aint gonna work if signal isnt linked is it!

I've got a few of them and they work as I'd expect.

You've probably been stung by the good ol' QC issue HK is becoming well known for.
A pain in the back side with their back ordered components too.

I feel your pain, but at least you tested it before chucking it in a plane and busting it. $8 wasted is better than $100s wasted.
No consolation I know, but hey I try.

yeah crampy those ones. just tried to do review on HK. no go. they wont seem to let me print my review. hey crampy could you post a pic of the product you received or check the files of that product and look real close(top file is a different pic to product display pic). tell me which one you received, a pic of what you received would help more though, if you can be bothered. no worries if u cant.
