RECIVER CAN HANDEL?
Posted: Mon Feb 14, 2011 6:47 pmI WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF MY FUTABA 14 CH 2.4GHZ CAN HANDEL THE CURRENT OF 8 7955 HITEC SERVO 1 CS 140 HOBBICO SERVO IN MY NEW 100C WITHOT USING ANY POWER PANEL LIKE SMART FLY OR POWERBOX?
Yes, your receiver will have no problems handling those servos -- if you have one per channel.
I fly a 50cc gasser with 3 x 5955 (the earlier version of the 7955), 4 x HS645s, an HS425 and an HS5925 -- all plugged directly in to the receiver (a FrSky 8-channel, the ailerons are on a Y-lead so there are FOUR heavy-duty metal-geared servos running from that channel).
So long as your batteries, wiring and switches are "up to scratch" you should have no problems.
Make sure you are using A123 batteries and not some soft NiMH packs or lipo/regulator setup and you should be fine.
