Fare enough about your comments , But what is the most anoying is the promises of getting back to stuff . Rarely have we seen any continuation of a promosed upcomming project . The list is long , if you have no intention of doing it say so or at least give an update on progress or reason it's stalled .How hard can that be ? Projects like modifying the 1.2 ghz rx units to make them more user friendly in NZ , Diversity unit , turbine unit review ( many many promised reviews here , a lot with donated gear I might add ) , not so weekly news .

I'm with Sloperdude.

Bruce has been more helpfull to me with what he has done in the past, what he is doing now is interesting but I am not waiting with baited breath for the results.
A promise where value is not exchanged, in agreeance, should not be taken as an implied contract such that a failure to fulfill said promise is a cause for breach of contract resulting in vilification by the agrieved party.

In short, if it's there well and good, if not, have patience. Or seek your information elsewhere, the internet is a big world go seek .

I like Bruce's vids because they are basic, there is no implication that I know something. A very helpfull approach to get new blood in, appears that those who whinge the most have been around for awhile and should have a clue.

I have to agree with you. I too thought about the fact that Bruce said that he plans to do it for a living. I have no problem with Bruce taking it easy, I do it myself. It just shows you that there is a market out there for someone who want's to be a little more ambitious than Bruce is and more ambitious and knowledgeable than I am.

It's almost a month now when it was said that a kit might be available. A heads-up letting us know if we should keep waiting or not would be nice, I think.

I have a v929 63 gr micro quad running on a 1s 500Mah lipo.
I am trying to build a fpv system for that , but it seems I have some problems. Maybe someone can advice me regarding my choice.

I have a 3.3v camera that will not work if voltage higher than 3.5v.
I have a 5.8 Ghz 200mw transmitter that is working also on 3.3v
As you know lipo is up to 4.2 volts.
Using a 3.3 bec from HK seems to be fine but only when power it with 2 cell battery.
it seems that on 1 cell the bec voltage is 0. Input 4.2v output 0
I sow the bruce micro quad video but i did not understood the parts and how they are connected .
Does anyone knows how to do it?

do a little soldering on the first, i think the second is ready to go, but have a read hook up a 2s lipo battery and off you go, Mine has been flying for 6 months, all from range video, they now have a 5v vtx as well. I have used both, they go well.

The linear regulator that Ted has shown you will probably work on a 1s as the input reduces these regulators tend to default to the input voltage.
Or a low dropout regulator such as this one will certainly work

Hi everyone,

I'm not a specialist in electronics, but I get the work done.

I'm having hard time to locate the component required as here in Europe I have the impressions that names or serials are different. anybody knows a place where I can find most if not all of them? even outside EU would be fine.

farnell website is great, but I have hard time finding things... sometime for the reference I have it points to 400 components and I can't get it right.

well it seems that I found one of the component from Bruce's video AMS 1117 3.3 1150 but I don't know the resistances values.
I wonder what will happen if I will use just the AMS 1117 33 1150 ground Vout Vin ?
