Hello,

I have been given and old 35mHz futaba skysport 6 T6YFK. I know futabas are good build quality and therefore want to use this tx with 2.4gHz hack for my boat rather than buying a new cheap 2.4gHz tx replacement. Is this sensible or crazy? What are the best options. I have attached a couple of images of the tx. I have had a look inside and haven't a clue where I would solder the + - and ppm of a hack module so again any advice is really appreciated.

I would convert this with a Frsky hack module.I believe only the telemetry unit is available now,but it's switchable between both,so you can use both types of rx with it.There are plenty of articles about such a conversion online.Google is your friend
