Twisting cables for FPV?

If you've been building electronic bits or modifying stuff you've bought then tell us all about it here. A good place to discuss the installation of 2.4GHz DIY modules too.

Twisting cables for FPV?

Postby iflylilplanes » Mon Apr 20, 2015 11:17 am

Hi All,
I've been told that twisting the cables between the camera and the transmitter, and, between the transmitter and the power supply (battery, UBEC) can reduce the reception of electrical noise interference, is this true? and, does this process reduce the efficiency of the FPV gear? I'm trying to keep the weight down on my new 250 quad racer and I don't want to add a filter if it's not necessary.

Thanks for any advise,

Dave W.
Many Thanks,

Dave W.
