Its action time. I have the goodies I need-got this programmer plus a male and female connector to go on it in case I need them.
Seems I will have to cut the cable and just solder one of end directly to the board, and pull it out when I need to use it. Thinking of even having it inside and unscrewing the back panel when I need it-I can't see myself doing this very often.
As I don't have a nice pretty coloured cable like in the ER9X instructions ( I have this one, can see a larger image to see what I'm talking about), and I don't have a female connector on the end to show the arrow (only the one that plugs in to it), would the side of the cable with the pink line on it be the side that goes on with the arrow/the side with the brown wire in the ER9X instructions??
I'm nervous about stuffing this up, so I'm just double checking everything.
