I hope to pick up the boards from the SMT assembly house today...I need to put some through hole parts on the board.
Test and burn them in , and they will be ready...to go.

Sorry no need for kids.....

josheppaul - I do not understand your question , do you want to make circuit boards? , The boards are made by a circuit board company.
You design the circuit with PCB design software , send them the files , and some money , they send you the boards.
You cannot make a board like this at home..and get the same results.

Hi,

I'm just getting the website going....kinda new at this part...

The Boards are being built Monday ...the SMT machine is loaded and programed.

I will send out emails for order and shipping info next week , I will then make up a Paypal invoice to send.

I'm starting to ship boards this week , I have had a lot of orders...

I install each board and test all the stick , trims and switch inputs , LED backlight , audio , volume control , all 3 serial ports ,2 LCDs
Program the co-processor with a bootloader so that the ARM can send a custom program to it.

Its taking me some time to get it all done... but I'll get there...

Hey got the board today. Arrived well packed! Installed the board and new screen. The new screen does nothing, not sure on that one. I think it's the screen not the board - will see if I can find the one you used exactly. The HK backlight kit works fine also. So I took it back apart and replaced the stock screen. The display is off to the left a touch and some odd dot/dashes on the right side. Is there a Horizontal and Vertical adjustment? It's not the physical alignment of the screen but a software issue. My sons we just flashed his radio with the er9x software with no screen issues

P.S.
You might want to consider a plug layout diagram to include with the board. So far I love it.

Thanks in Advance

HEY found the problem!! ME :) turned off the Optrix Display mode and it moved over. NICE!! My radio is now pimped out! Just need a screen that works now. Got any suggestions - back light is not an issue with the HK kit.

Hi ,

I'm glad you got it working, there is a User Guide thread at

http://9xforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=545

It explains the board and software operation...it is a must read.
Also there are lots of people over there to help with your questions.

A install guide is in the works ....but currently all of my time is being spent on getting boards ready.....

The Optrex display plugs into the second LCD connector not the one you plug the stock 9x display into.
This connector has the flip up brown latch on it.

Please come over to the support forum , this is not the place for questions like these.
Thanks,
Brent
