I just bought a DX18 and was appalled at the small size of the text. Even though the screen is larger than the DX8 the text is much smaller. I found this to be most annoying and have returned the DX18.
Do you have any plans to do a review?

I would love to review the DX18 but unfortunately, ever since I clearly pointed out flaws in DSM2 and suggested (with evidence) that it was really no longer up to the task for large/fast models -- Horizon have refused to respond to my emails and have actually engaged in a campaign of badmouthing me whenever possible.

Hence, I don't seem much hope of them ever being interested in supplying a unit for review and since our club is pretty much a "spektrum-free zone", I doubt I'll be able to acquire one from other sources.

I was lucky to get the DX8 I reviewed from someone not too far away.

It seems that despite the fact I found the new DSMX system to be probably the best on the market right now (from a resilience perspective), Horizon still seem to be telling people I'm a "know-nothing grumpy old man".

However, if I can get my hands on one, I'll review it and, as usual, I'll tell you the good and the bad without bias or favor.

I get the same reaction from Horizon and their "fanbase" whenever I criticed something. I have much praise for the DX8 but if I even mention anything I dont like, like the tiny illegible trim displays, I get "Blacklisted". I am an Electronic Technician myself and have been enjoying your reviews. I am interested in the new JR XG11, yes, the name is hard to remember!

What the hell are you talking about?

I hear you VP, disappointed to hear the DX18 text size wasn't a good fit for you. While the screen is bigger, it sounds like the trade-off for more features comes with smaller text. Hopefully the DX8 works well for you! As for a review, I don't currently have discussion board post writing services plans for one, but I can keep an eye out for others' thoughts on the DX18.
