I just now saw HobbyKing promoting Turnigy nano-tec batteries. I am curious to their statements as to flatter voltage curve and higher discharge rate.

I would have ordered and tested one myself, but i ordered a "normal" Turnigy 30C lipo just a week ago

They have a new category for the nano-tec batteries: http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh ... tegory=378

Yes I saw those -- I would have ordered some to try but they sold out straight away and as we know -- it's not always a good idea to order stuff that's not in stock from HK. I've got better things to do with my review budget than to turn it into a zero-interest-rate loan to HK 8-)

They have a bunch in stock still according to the webpage, but maybe not the configurations you need. I wish i had seen those a week ago, would have gotten 1000mAh more in the same weight

Ah yes, they seem to have replenished stock levels since I last checked.

Now, I wonder how the shipping is going?

I ordered a large lipo at the 22.06, it arrived in Singapore the 25.06 and was forwarded to Norway using Swiss post the same day. I haven't received it yet though. But i contacted them before hand. And they seemed to have the new transport route under control.

The battery arrived with swiss post at on july 9th. (so just over two weeks from ordering to arrival).

I saw another Turnigy nano-tech post in the battery/esc etc subforum. Maybe move this thread to that forum (i don't think it existed when i originally posted)
