Parachute Recovery-System (for Aerial/FPV)

Postby konturger » Sun Nov 16, 2014 10:23 am

Dear Bruce,
I wonder why not spending more time into a well proven system that safed a lot of lifes so far, which also could safe a lot of copter parts, impact to others properties, and even human injuries.
A recovery parachute with a convenient deployment container could safe a lot of time, money, anger and pain. This barely makes not much sense on lowlevel FPV racers :-D - BUT on aerial or fpv flying above 10-15m agl.

Who has lost a copter midair due broken ESC, motor, proteller, pilot issue, rf interference...?
100gr extra weight sounds much, but how much compared to a total damage? ;-)

What do you think.
