Indeed. I had no plans for a 20km flight but then again....

I took the Phoenix to the foot of a hill and got it over 500 meter in about three minutes (at about 200W).

So my wish list for Santa (aka Bruce): instruction for building tracker for 5.8 and 2.4 (I have the FrSky 2-way), or a double antenna system for short and long range.

At one stage I was contemplating if it is possible to hoist a couple of 2.4 and 5.8 antennas high up in a tree (30+ meters) and use short range transmitters back to me. Propably too much hassle and time consuming.
