Hi Guys we did a very last minute flight just before or should I say as the sun was setting and I couldn't believe how bright the camera made everything look. You will notice most of the colour (color) is washed out. I think the camera was almost ready to go into Black and white mode. In any case I couldn't believe it all worked out.

Works surprisingly well for such a cheap camera lens combo.

It was just strange because I launched the model and thought no way, I had better bring it down. As its flown passed I've looked over at the monitor and everything is bright and I can see perfectly So I did a big circuit and then landed just in case. It was just such a surprise when I looking at the monitor.

I'm buying some more gear soon, for Thomas and I'll do some comparisons between camera etc I think he's even thinking of getting a different OSD to my Remzibi.

You went better then than the scale event at the club today. Some VERY big planes and with the nasty gusts, two crashed on landing and another creamed in due to what looked to be radio interference.

I was both official photographer...and official bag-of-bits carrier.

Come to think of it we haven't had any accidents since I started back into the sport. Oh unless you count my mid-air collision with a Tri-Copter at least we got that one on video.

Btw, I just ordered a new sports model off of Garth, a chap who gets stuff in cheaply for us. He got bit by his prop yesterday, when a wing-tip hit his throttle as he was unplugging the battery. If you can peeps, assign a switch on your transmitters as a safety switch, to disable throttle with electric planes!

My new plane, an E-Flite Advance 25e, good value, especially compared to some other E-Flite models (I will be using a Turnigy motor and ESC plus Hitec mini, metal geared, servos). I needed something like this to go for my gold wings. It has real wheels! lol

Some very nice models there Sid! I miss the fun side of being in a club and seeing lots of models . . . but not the Politics
