I went over this bridge on my way home today...had to fly the area. I'll be back for more later.

WOW! Great videos. Gorgeous scenery too. I wish I had something more interesting than abandoned subdivisions and strip mall shopping centers to choose from.

So, today I was going to fly the big mountain again but there was a blanket of clouds here. I went to the base of the mountain and it was socked in with clouds and I wouldn't be able to see anything. I went back to the field where I test things and attempted flying through the clouds. 0 visibility for 2500 vertical feet of clouds, but I made it. hope you guys like this one.

I'm working on the courage to do a night flight. I think that's next on the plate. :)

Got to 6.2 miles today, 10km!! Really was pretty easy but my damned laptop dies in the process. Also, almost ran out of electric on the way home. Limped it in with not more then 200 mah left in the cells. Going to shoot out a bit further this week using better throttle management.

Sounds like you'll become an airborne bird spotter now to find out where the lift is! :-)

Or you could cheat and include a vario? Does your OSD include that option?

Makes you wonder how someone can achieve 100 km round trip with FPV doesn't it!

So true, how the heck did he do that!! Lol, then again just a month or so ago I thought I'd never get to the mile mark. :)

My EZOSD has no airspeed, only ground speed and a gps only altitude reading which is really crap for the most part.

Got some good birds in the next video, I'll leave it for you guys to spot em. Hint, he's standing on a pole and I think I started to rattle him just a bit. :D

EDIT: Damn editing software is giving me a hard time, will have it sorted shortly.
