Hello my fellow RC'ers

I have wanted to do FPV for a while. Looked at Bruce's videos and the cost of the recieve equipment like the fatshark glasses has kinda kept me from having one.

I also wear glasses.. and I have not seen anything thatll help a person wearing glasses to do FPV yet. May bey'all can help me with that too.

watched Bruce's video on walkera ladybird FPV. and man that just looked great! small portable, and cheap all the way around. how it flies I guess we'll find out in the coming videos, but, still man ! that was brilliant.

I want to find all the circuits and the components and antenna and camera and what not he said he has posted in the forums. Is there a post where everything is concatenated into one? is that posted yet at all?

See I got questions. I am so lost!!! :) is fatshark the only RX goggles I can use? man.. I can go on and on.. lol Please help! :)

I've not tried it but I know that you can get "diopter" lens inserts for fatshark goggles. :geek:

Hope that helps, I was brand new myself only just a little while back. Still learning and it's all been a blast. :D

Contact lenses's , and the big bonus is you can use em for sports , ocean swimming etc etc . those diopter lenses are a bit shit , contacts are not .

i wear glasses 99% of the time but whip out the contacts for any stuff like that now , wish i had done it 20 years back ..

I'm replying to your thread title. Do not be intimidated!

In February this year I decided to buy into the RC world, today I am an accomplished Intermediate pilot and building a kick ass FPV system.

Nothing is impossible and if you apply that to this hobby - you'll spend just as much money as most of us do lol...

Seriously good luck and please keep us informed of your progress...
