This is very interesting. Just found this, not sure if anyone has already posted it. This is video of multiple quad rotors being controlled as a group by a computer program of some sort I'm sure. Imagine the possibilities.

Control of these must have been by co-ordinate transmitters in the hall enabling them to navigate accurately in 3d.
These could not be used in another environment without co-ordinate senders, impressive but kind of scary!
