Dear Mr Simspon,

I am a fan from WAYYYY back. I have followed your story since the days you were *ahem* investigated, ostracised, and had to go underground for one of your most ambitious and exciting projects. You know which one I mean... ;)

Inspired by yourself and a heap of others on the pulse forum, I have had dirtied my hands and burnt my eyebrows off playing with methanol and reynst engines till the wee hours of the morning, and dabbled with RC for several years. All the time keeping an eye on your other page. I never ventured into true Pulse, as I lived in a small suburban area, and the neighbours wouldn't have been too happy...

BUT, Mr. Simpson, I have just moved to Italy. I had to sell EVERYTHING before I came over, it just wasn't practical to lug around an old beat up easystar and several home-made mugis. Thus, I'm in semi rural Italy, learning the language, and trying to decide if I will re-establish myself as a crazed backyard inventor, amatuer rc pilot, and general "Blower-of-things-up" as I was back in Canberra.

I could REALLY really do with a kick start into the hobby again. Also, I have been following yout tutorials on demystifying the 2.4GHz FASST vs DHSS vs LMNOP... It sure would simplify my choice if I was to win your generous prize.

Yours truly,

Scott

PS. I ended up giving my reynst engine to a friend. You can see it on youtube if you search for "reynst" and the username is "scottthecoffeegeek".

Count me in!

Also thanks for the heads up about the Lipo situation with HobbyKing. I bet they get a ton of orders because their prices are insanely low. I don't know how they do it.
