Ok, well still trying to work out the electronic, camera, tx/rx video on the skywalker.
Haven't had too much success. Be nice to just ship of the internals to someone who knows what they are doing.
Anyway I will keep working on it.
I have however flown my SkySurfer (AXN Floater copy).
I strapped a keychain camera to in and flew it out the back.
Did two flights and two different locations. The first was a
great learning experience and I noticed that the footage was
not very good as I made a lot of sudden turns and wasn't confident
enough to let the plane go to far away. The second was very windy
so again the footage was not great as I struggled to keep it
under control. All in all I am happy with my progress and the
plane isn't really damaged besides some small cracks and scratches.
So the plan for now is to keep working on the skywalkers internals,
getting the visuals working, while I keep practising on the SkySurfer
and the simulator. I as so happy that I did get the simulator to practice
on as I believe it has saved me a bunch of money as I would have
crashed my plane for sure.
