Turnigy 9x and receiver compatibility

Happy New Year guys!

I have the 9x mode 2 V2

I would like to get a few 4-6 channel receivers for scratch built park models. It is all so very confusing as far as compatibility goes. Can someone make a list of 4-6 channels receivers that will work with my Tx?

I've tried making heads or tails of the list on HK and now see they don't even list a 6 chan. in the USA warehouse. I could just use the 8 chan. but hate to always put the extra weight in the plane... Might save some space too.

Unfortunately you are stuck with the Turnigy 9X receivers for your radio, you can convert your existing Turnigy to accept a Frsky module and receivers (4 to 8 channel units) but the cost is now prohibitive with the production of the Turnigy 9xR.

or you may just consider the Turnigy 6X

and make use of the compatible Turnigy 4X/6X receivers.

The reality is that the 8ch unit weights 39g and the 4/6 ch units come in at 20g, is the cost to save 20g a viable option?

since I posted this I bought and used a HK 3 channel rx.... I didn't realize it but it was for RC cars. I found another guy that was using one in his park model and hasn't had any issues. How far away do you need to fly a park model?? LOL I mounted one in my trainer and had a man test fly it. Got me all pumped to to fly it myself.. if the wind ever quits blowing! Thanks for the links!
