Awesome Bruce.

Here are my antennas. Built exactly to your instructions. It seems to be a much easier method than what is already out there. Thanks.

I did the math and I figured that your dimensions are for about 5.67GHz. Looking at the specs for the TX5823 and RX5808 units. There is a big gap in the channels around 5.8Ghz. So building for 5.67Ghz makes sense. I guess you just called it 5.8 in the video to not confuse people. Anyway, any idea why there is a gap?

I found a thread on the Hobbyking forums with the answer.

The chipset inside has 5 lines to control 24 channels while the board only makes use of 3 lines and 8 channels. There is also a second audio channel that is unused.

I'm guessing these are 1/2 wave, is a 1/4 wave clover feasible for my FpV ladybird?
