BEVRC

Well I've now made several attempts to contact BEVRC because I'd like to feature some of their products in my upcoming series of FPV articles but have some questions to ask before I lay down my cash.

Their response: zero, zilch, nothing, nada, nobody-home.

So, much as I'd love to use their parts when designing, building and publishing the range of FPV options I'm working on, so that readers/viewers can do the same, I'm not about to point people at a company which won't even answer its emails.

What a shame -- I know that people have gotten good service from them so I'm totally at a loss to understand why they won't even give me the courtesy of a reply.

However, before I recommend stuff that others will buy, I need to be sure that the companies involved take customer support (presales and after-sales) seriously. BEVRC appears not to.

Maybe you just need to order 1000 pieces. I had the same problem with Walkera, contacted them about a brushless upgrade kit for one of their helos that they had on their website but the resellers didn't yet. They asked how many "containers" I wanted to order. I responded with "just 1 piece please" - and never heard from them again ;)

I think BEVRC are trying to sell to individuals so you'd expect they'd be responsive to individual customers.

I've pretty much written them off my list of possible suppliers for the FPV projects. Life's too short.

I bought a UHF LRS 'Chainlink' system from them a little while back. Quick delivery and works OK range wise. But, it has been discovered that there is a software problem with the fail safe (could be just early ones or all up to date). When the fault was verified by Bev they halted all deliveries and have been working on a solution, which I understand has just now been developed. So, it could be that they had their hands full, so to speak.

Anyhow, there are two threads on the 'chainlink' UHF LRS on rcgroups(wash my mouth out)

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthre ... =chainlink

You may get a better response if you contact them direct by PM from the forum or PM the 'Chainlink designer SID.HUANG http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=352541
