I always use the standard (cheapest) shipping method. The well packed boxes normally arrive within 2 weeks at my address in Belgium/Europe from international warehouse. From DE Warehouse shipping takes 2 to 4 days. They don't have much items in DE Warehouse though. Only used it for some larger planes so far.

I have around 60 orders so far. I never had issues with broken or missing parts. The only incident I had was with a package that never got to me. Eventually (I believe after 1 month) it showed up as returned on the HK order status web pages. As reason for returned it had a "wrong address" error. Strange thing is that I never changed my address and had already around 59 orders shipped without issues. So I got in contact with the live chat. They could only return me the money (return in points that is) for the products, not for the shipping. On my complaint that shipping address was never changed I got a promise they would look into it. I got in touch again using the chat later on since nothing really happened. And then they confirmed to me they couldn't return the shipping money.

Since then I haven't ordered any products but I still have some credits now so eventually I'll probably order again to get these out of the way (that's what these credits are all about isn't it).

I haven't had any issues with HK...yet. It annoys me though how they don't use SSL for sign ups or logins. I always put https: to force their SSL. For an online shopping site with their kind of volume, you woul think that SSL is essential. Depends too on how secure their server is. Does anyone know if they use SSL connections if you pay directly with your credit card? I usually use PayPal so I haven't seen how they process other transactions.

Anyone notice that there are no Turnigy 9x in the Aussie HK warehouse anymore even on back order, is this "normal" for them or is the warehouse closing down. :?:

Maybe it's because the Aussie national body won't approve them as "legal" for flying at MAA-affiliated clubs?

I think the Spektrum/Futaba/JR dealers have their feet well under that table and although the Orange receivers have recently been approved, the chances of the 9X making it past the oligopoly that is the Aussie hobby industry (sorry -- the MAA approval process) is pretty remote.

Thanks for the enlighenment Bruce, had a quick flic through the MAAA site. RULES so many??!!! and just for a hobby sport. Am going to find a field in a deep valley where CASA should never go!!
Have just ordered a FS TH9X from Leadershobby, with freight cheaper than HK. Might be a mistake but it will be mine without rules.

I have found Leaders to be a very good company, so far at least. Shipping is fast a trouble free so right now they are my go to overseas hobby store since I got severly burned by Hobby King.
