RC Model Reviews

Still chasing radios at the moment. The T8FG doesn't seem to be at all popular around these parts and (as we all know) the DX8 is still "waiting in the wings".

I'll keep folks updated as things change though.

Good Luck getting Futaba to send you a review set. Its just not corporate policy to to trust someone they have not met or trust. Many large corps have this attitude.

Its a great pity but understandable since RC is merely a sideline business for them.

and it has little to do with confidence in their product, its just the way they do things.If they lacked confidence in their product, they would not risk their entire Industrial business by marketing the technology into the rc hobby.

RC is not a cheap hobby and many people who fly RC also own companies that manufacture goods or distribute goods or are someway participating in the larger economy. If those people use Futaba at work, they will fly Futaba. They won't place that customer base at risk by playing ball when they have their own ball game. Its just palin and simple marketing

Do you mean "anyone they can trust to write a good review?"

Hopefully, given Hitec's lead, others will also realize that if the product is as good as claimed, they've got a lot more to gain than to lose by having it objectively reviewed somewhere that isn't swayed by commercial pressures and ad-budgets.
