About the relative narrow-bandwith that's used, it's suggested that this is done to meet French restrictions when it comes to 2.4Ghz used for RC models.
Another thing to remeber is that you have to rebind every receiver after using the adaptive scan mode of the Tx module... not so handy IMO.
