frsky into a 6ch.

Can I install A frsky DIY modual in a JR SX600.Its a computer raidio 6ch.I'd realy like to go 2.4. I just don't have the funds to buy another transmitter. My sx600 has very little use, it seems like a good raidio. I unerstand frsky is 8ch. Any help will be appreciated.

You can fit the frsky module into an old single channel transmitter if you want and quite a lot of vintage movement people have done, you will have no problem in a six channel transmitter iv'e fitted loads of them, the maximum receiver channels frsky offer is eight and this is what might be confusing you, you can use an eight channel receiver with a six channel transmitter two of the channels simply wont work, frsky also do four and seven channel receivers as well as six channel in the telemetry version.
