I just checked the Hobby King website for this product, seems pretty self explanatory to me.

This is the kind of product you use when you really NEED it, and hopefully it never gets activated. You may have to wait a while to hear from someone who has actually had one of the two becs fail and can thus confirm it worked as designed. It's what you would use on large scale aircraft.... you don't really want to loose control of a 125lbs model in the air!

Now, if it were me.... I probably would be looking towards a more reputable manufacturer for this type of product if I needed it. Considering the cost of large scale models and the amount of damage they could do if control was lost, trying to save a few $$ on the redundancy circuit seems quite silly really.
