Camera - keychain

If you've been building electronic bits or modifying stuff you've bought then tell us all about it here. A good place to discuss the installation of 2.4GHz DIY modules too.

I know this may sound dumb....but I can't seem to find a way to do video editing. Photoshop was no problem & I'm fairly decent at editing stills....but the movie thing is still a mystery and a dead end. This won't load or play this or that....you need this encoder or the other one....or it's the out of date one. It just simply frustrates the hell outa me. Anybody willing to help me get over this hump???

Hi Flash,

I use a 808 #5, probably the worst of the bunch and I just use Windows Movie Maker (I am assuming you use Windows). I'm no wizzbang at this    , being self taught it took a few days and a few "duds".
This is what you can do (a little self promo  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2NepMJjgKI&feature=plcp it's a load of rubbish but what fun :D )

If you don't have it down load at http://www.windows-movie-maker.org/?gcl ... pAoduB1c0A

If you are having trouble playing anything on Windows Media Player update your codecs. My favourite is the "standard" version of K-Lite Codec at
http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

Another thing that generally gets overlooked, if you have a dedicated graphics card update the drivers from the OEM's website. Doesn't help you make movies but will ensure you are able to enjoy your end product.
Not enough time in the day for all my crazy ideas, I'm not slow, I'm just pacing myself

I now think my supposedly #3 is probably a fake, maybe a #5 or #11 or something .the date colour doesn't seem to match anything on the chucklohr site.Oh well,it works,so I'll leave it at that.
