French Back pack

If you've been building electronic bits or modifying stuff you've bought then tell us all about it here. A good place to discuss the installation of 2.4GHz DIY modules too.

Neat setup, would like to see how you have mounted the wings for transporting. Do you have any pics or perhaps a vid showing setup from carry box to flight ready.
Cheers

Hello Julien,

I'm new to RC, actually a total virgin I would say since I still haven't bought any gear yet!

Anyways, I was thinking of buying the ANX Floater to start, however I have seen around in some reviews that the plane is all glued up, specially the wings (e.g: http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/axnbits.shtml). Now I am seeing that in your plane you have made some mods and you managed to make the wings and elevators removable.

Would you care sharing how you achieved this?

Thank you in advance.

Perhaps instead of glueing use Disc Magnet like a lot of them do.

Hi Banner,

Not so sure if you read my post entirely, but that link you sent explains exactly what I want to avoid (gluing the wings/elevator). If you have a look at Julien's plane he managed to make the wings and elevators detachable for easy transportation.
