Great work Dennis.

I'm now inspired to do the same and beef up the cables on what will be my XT60 to Servo Socket wire for the Life battery.

No more shorting banana plugs!

Guys, if you have the time, here is a little vid I did for my method of making an XT60 to Deans connector.
Note the hi-tech solder aid.

Dennis, I don't see the video link. Am I missing something, or am I not looking in the right place?

So a 1500mah LiFe battery is the recommended battery to replace an 8AA battery pack. Is the HobbyKing 3S 9.9V SKU: A123-6.6VB the right battery to buy?

Thanks,
Andre

No you want this battery. First perfectly in the battery tray and lasts for ages (cant quantify sorry, weather shit so not much flying). I've charged mine once since getting it 5-6 weeks ago and that's from playing around with programming and on simulator and 20/30 min of actual flying.
