Turnigy 9x(V2): Receiver not working

Postby visionanand » Tue Oct 16, 2012 1:16 pm

Hi,
I am a noob in the RC feild. I bought a Turnigy 9x (V2) Tx/Rx about a month ago. The receiver stopped working all of a sudden. I tried connecting the batt to an ESC/BEC and powering my receiver from the ESC/BEC. But i don't see the solid red light on the receiver, turning on. I am able to bind the receiver to my transmitter. but when i try to use my receiver im not able to do it.
What is the reason for this?
Do i have a dead receiver?
What should i do to make my receiver work?

Thanks in advance.

Be sure there is 4.8 -6 Volts is getting to the receiver. A voltmeter may be necessary. Your servos will move a little when the receiver is powered up.....even if it isn't bound to the transmitter. In operation.....turn your transmitter on FIRST.....the transmitted signal should be present BEFORE powering up your receiver. If you don't see a red light.....then you may need to re-bind.
