Just a quick question. I ordered a AXN and a FS-TH9X. The AXN i ordered had the servos and the ESC as part of the kit. I was wondering if I need a Voltage Regulator to supply my Receiver with power. I purchased Turnigy 3s 2200mah batterys as well. I don't have the kit so I don't have any instructions or manuals to look at to see if they say I need one or not. Thanks Doug.
To make the std BEC in the ESC last a while longer I cut all my control serfaces and hinged them with clear long-life packing tape. It made a big difference to to the load on the servos. It is usually the BEC dying due to overload that kills the std ESC's in the AXN floater jets and usually the aircraft as well as it will wait till its in the air before dying causing a crash
Mine hardly gets hot now the control surfaces have been freed up,
