LiFePO4 batteries labeled A123 review request

Dear Bruce,
I would like to know if you have scheduled a battery/manufacturer showdown on the multitude of LiFePO4 batteries available from China. I have purchased 5 sets of receiver packs set up in the A2 2S1P configuration with tabs welded before shipment to me. I purchased these 5 packs for a total of $26.00 US shipped from sz_ohmygod@hotmail.com AKA eBay My World: sz_ohmygod ( 742Feedback score is 500 to 999). These packs arrived at my front door, registered mail, exactly 11 days from the date of my order.
I have yet to use any, but have added my own Futaba connector, and pack insulation as I did not order any with the battery, and initially charge the packs. This company offered to ship my packs with the connector, but I was having communication problems already. (I had to tell them 3 times that I WAS SURE of my order of A2 2S1P configuration as per their diagram).
I am willing to contribute to the cause by shipping one of these pack to you for your review and disposal, if you would like to see it.
Thanks,
Bryan

i can't provide testing facilities but good luck with your testing. I shall be watching this as i intend to buy those cells from that seller, in that configuration. I've heard that their cells are ok. Did they weld on tabs for you to attatch your leads to?

They did weld the tab across the bottom of the pack (+ to -) and tabs so that I could connect my lead. They did charge more for that, but it was negligible. I think it was like $0.20 per pack. They offered to solder a lead to the tabs, but it took 3 emails to get them to understand my specific cell orientation. I am currently awaiting Bruce's address so that I can send him a pack for testing. Maybe he will put it on a lottery when he is finished.
