The problem is that the US-brand oils seem to have a strong grip on the market in Australia and NZ, thanks to their powerful distribution chain. That makes it harder for other players to get a foot in the door and, because the market is so small, it's not worth importing in economically viable quantities unless you can be sure you're going to grab a fair share of that market.
I pay around NZ$20 per litre for my Fusch Aerosave oil but it wouldn't be worth shipping to Oz because the postage on a litre would be more than the oil -- otherwise I'd send you some.
