Hi Has anyone here built a tricopter? I am building one at the moment and any help would be good

Here are some pics of my progress, pics are of main frame with electronics and rudder mechs. Its based of a tricopter from a swiss guy. RC explorer, his flys great with the same gear being used.

Rudder set up. This is a blue bird digital servo. and just a note with the frysky problem with digital servos, works fine with this one very smooth

ive seen a couple guys in nz are doing these. i know their user names as sargeNZ and kneedrag on parkflyers.org.nz forum.
sarge even had some of his vid aired on national TV

Had a look at mongrelgear tri copter, theres something to be said for make something from start to finish.

Finaly finished tricopter. It flys very well, and very stable in high wind which suprised me, I could never fly around my trex only hover, but this I can chuck around. Will upload more photos soon

Yeah my first one I built light and it got blown around a bit. Current one is a heavy bugger over a KG and stable as anything. Wind just makes it drift I am just trying to balance the motors out now so I can get some nice video.
