Here is another shot of how it would rest on the case. Not a good focus, but you can see the shadow under the metal handle.

It's still better than having the antenna rest on the ground and now Hitec users can mount the antenna on the other side of that protruding box so that it still points upwards even though the module will be installed upside down.
