Turnigy 9x hover pitch and throttle pitch dials

Postby sytamra » Sat Nov 27, 2010 11:18 pm

Guys, first of all thanks again with the aileron not working problem. All is fine now.
A friend has been setting up his EXI 450 with the same transmitter but the Hover Throttle and Hover Pitch knobs do nothing. They work fine on my 500. We checked all the settings and they seem to be the same except for curves etc. What would cause his knobs to not work? Probably something simple, but we can't get it figured out. Also, neither one of us can figure out what the Pitch trim knob is for.
Your help is appreciated

you don't use the throttle and pitch knobs on an electric heli, these are there for Nitro powered helis.
Your pitch/throttle curves are all you need!

thanks for the response, these helis are electric, but still don't understand why my My 500 responds and his 450 does not.
There is nothing in the programming that says "is this heli electric or nitro?'
There has to be some programming error that we have not found that enabled it on mine and disabled it on his.
Thanks

I take it nobody has run into this problem? Or nobody has a clue? Same TX and RX...........only one's a 450 and the other is a 500. I guess I shouldn't say they are the same TX & RX, we both have the same setup only his dials do not work and mine do.
All help is appreciated.
