Yeah, I'd say the RCGF is too big and heavy for that model.
Cap 232s tend to have a tendency to tip-stall quite aggressively (hence the nick-name "snappy cappy") and any extra weight or forward CG simply makes that problem much worse.
The RCGF 15CC is heavier than their 20cc and the 20cc is much too big to fit in the front of a 55inch wingspan CAP. Thats a .40size bird and will fly 3d with a O.S. 55AX (8.5cc) spinning a JXF 13x5 prop
I have flow it today and with an asp 4 stroke. For some reason the throttle range has gone. Wonder if I need to adjust the valves. Seems to be well tuned.
Was impressed with the plane. Was a bit nose heavy and I've adjusted it with much better results.
With the nose heavy it was unpleasant to land but with 20g less was much nicer.
The 15cc is now going to sit around and wait for a new home. Any suggestions.
