Seagull mew gull

If you didn't have to build it then you can talk about it here.

Seagull mew gull

Hi,

Has anyone successfully flown the new Mew gull kit from Seagull?
I have seen on another forum several posts about this model in a build blog saying that its a hard model to land without damaging the U/C and spats.
Anyone had this problem and did you use the recommended C of G?
I have an earlier model with different u/c and apparently this one is stronger than its replacement.

I am waiting to assemble the model with bated breath!

Just looking at the model, with its tapered wings and relatively small hi-mounted tailplane, I'd say it's probably not the easiest plane to fly (I bet it tipstalls really well when even slightly provoked).

Also, looking at that quite long nose and the undercarriage placement, you may be right about the landing.
