Hobie Hawk(s)

Postby gjb999 » Sat Sep 03, 2011 7:44 pm

Well, this is one of those "under a dust coverd tarp in the gargae" stories. My father was a Hobie dealer back in the 70's, and loved the hawks. It never caught with me. Anyway, he recently passed, and I was cleaning out the garage, an found a few Hobie Hawks, misc wings, and some partial wings. One of the bodies is "used" pretty hard, but one is in very good shape, and another is pretty much brand new. I tried to search the Internet for leads on these, but they are so old, I think they have flushed through the collections. Is there any groups or places that I can look into selling these? I can provide pics on request.

I tried a quick search and came up with this....

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=hobie+hawk

As for selling parts, best bet is probably Ebay or perhaps RCgroups....
