Had a great flight yesterday.
First successful FPV using video tx/rx.
Recorded on the keychain camera.
Much smoother when you can see from
the cockpit.

Weather was perfect.
Will post YouTube flick when edited.

Good one Fury! Look forward to watching too.

Today was a good day for me, my FatShark goggles finally showed up! They flew out of Hong Kong on the 17th of October, I'd just about given up on them.

What goes up...better bloody stay up (until I say otherwise).

Will do. All I can say atm is that it sure is dark in there when you put them on! ;-)

Yeah, bummer about your eBay effort.

Getting excited now. I'll make up the antennas in the next day or so and the camera mount for the axn (I have a pan and tilt system to install).

I'll run the pan/tilt on the right sticks and use the left sticks for elevator and ailerons, with a pot for throttle, with a switch set to change between "FPV mode" and regular mode 1 for take off and landings. Then hopefully it's all systems go! :-)

Man Pan Tilt Systems, FatShark . . too advanced :) Seriously Sid you'll have a total blast :) I've just put in an order for Thomas' FPV Gear . . so far $300 . . probably another $400 and he should have everything he needs.

Keep us updated on your progress
